Year 1 is an important year for your child at Highweek. This is the Year that children move from their early learning goals towards accessing the national curriculum and children are expected to make great leaps in their reading, writing and phonic ability.

 

Year 2 is an important year for your child at Highweek. As well as the children sitting their national Key Stage 1 SAT tests next year, they are now also the oldest children in Key Stage 1.
