Clubs

Clubs can enhance a child’s learning and enjoyment at school and can help them to acquire and develop new and existing skills. In particular children of primary school age benefit enormously from the exposure to activities that they otherwise might not encounter and we are passionate about being able to offer as wide a range of clubs as is possible for the children of Highweek Community Primary School.

Staff provide a number of after school clubs. Recently these have included Homework Club and a Gardening Club operates during school time for older children.

Sport is also well catered for at the school with netball, football and pupils are given the opportunity to compete at local netball and football tournaments and athletics tournaments as well as other sporting activities.

Details of clubs and activities –

Each term there are a wide variety of clubs available for children to attend. These clubs have included a diverse range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, cookery and more. Parents and carers are invited by a letter sent home with details about the clubs on offer with a form to complete to book their child's place on any clubs they wish their child to attend.  When your child is allocated a space at a specific club you will be notified through Schoolcomms to make payment.
